The most important thing you can do to keep your vehicle running well today and in the future is routine maintenance. However, many drivers neglect keeping up with everyday basic maintenance. A recent survey by the Car Care Council found that 25% of cars had low or dirty engine oil, 13% had low or dirty brake fluid, 18% had dirty air filters, 17% had low coolant levels or inadequate cooling systems, 16% needed new windshield wipers, 27% had low or contaminated washer fluid, and 18% needed new belts. Overall, 89% of the vehicles surveyed needed at least one service or repair. A regular service schedule can keep your car running at its best.
To keep your car in good condition, here is a service interval schedule you can follow to keep track of regular maintenance. Most of these services can be done at little to no cost, and are quick and easy to do.
