Not every transmission problem means a new transmission
Many problems that feel like a failing transmission are smaller repairs: low fluid or a leak, burnt or worn-out fluid, a loose vacuum line, a linkage or cable out of adjustment, a bad solenoid, a faulty sensor, or a computer problem. A shop that skips the diagnosis can sell you a transmission you did not need.
Our ASE-certified technicians test first. We check the fluid, scan the transmission computer, road test the car, and inspect for leaks and wiring problems, then explain what we found and what it will take to fix.

Do I need a new transmission?
Often not. Low fluid, leaks, solenoids, sensors, and computer problems can all feel like a failing transmission. We diagnose first and tell you what we find.
Should I keep driving with a slipping transmission?
It is best not to. Driving on a slipping transmission can turn a smaller repair into a larger one. Have it checked as soon as you can.
Is a transmission flush the same as a repair?
No. Fluid service is maintenance that helps prevent problems. A repair fixes a problem that is already there. We will tell you which one your car needs.
